Your Leisure Time - Guide to your leisure time

YLT is the abbreviation for ‘Your Leisure Time’ designed to provide immediate and relevant information for you to make best use of your precious leisure time.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make the UK’s Sports, Leisure and Entertainment information universally accessible and useful.

Where did 'Your Leisure Time' come from?

Founder Martin Earl based his 'your leisure time' mission on his childhood sporting interests which grew into continuing active involvement in playing and watching sports of all types. He found it difficult to find information on sports and leisure clubs without making a series of phone calls or speculative visits, which was time consuming and costly and frequently led to disappointing results.

As the web developed, he believed this would make this information easily available, but in turn created a wider search area of over 8billion possible web pages. Even if you knew the location and the name of the club you were still being confronted with hundreds of possible websites and even then the information was patchy.

The means to overcome this and capitalise on the accessibility of the internet was to channel this information into one site. This gives users the opportunity to access information on sports, leisure activities and entertainment in just a few clicks of the mouse.

Alongside supplying contact details was to expand this information by providing pictures and more detailed information on opening times and facilities available. To enhance the users enjoyment was to accompany this information with targeted and useful facts and histories of sports and leisure pursuits.

As your leisure time.com user we wish you an enjoyable experience and encourage feedback on services available and new and improving ideas you wish to see.
