Badminton Clubs

Badminton is a racket sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles). Lightweight rackets and a frequently speed changing projectile (a shuttlecock) make Badminton an extremely quick game. Conversely, the shuttlecock can also be played at a much slower speed so beginners can enjoy the game. Badminton Clubs allow people the opportunity to experience the sport in a friendly and/or competitive environment.

Badminton is an international indoor game, but has been linked with Southeast Asia and Indonesia; from where many top players have originated. Speed, reaction, and endurance are all important to being a successful badminton player. The sport can be compared with squash in a fitness context, as both sports feature fast, short, explosive movements. Get out there and get explosive too - just use the search box below to locate the Badminton Clubs near you.
